Jason Martin – Volunteer Ambassador

After retiring from Access just six months ago, I quickly discovered that retirement doesn’t quite suit me.

Instead of putting my feet up, I decided to jump back in to start working with the Access Foundation as an Ambassador. For me it’s been a rewarding way to stay involved, give back, and continue contributing to a mission I care about.

Outside of volunteering, I try to make the most of my newfound freedom. I’m an enthusiastic skier who’s always ready for the next good snowfall, and I’ve recently taken on a completely new challenge: planting and tending my own vineyard. What began as a small passion project has grown into something that now fills much of my time and nearly all of my conversations. Whether I’m pruning vines, learning the art of winemaking, or simply trying to stay one step ahead of the weeds, it’s been an adventure I’m loving every minute of.

I’m excited to bring my experience, energy, and sense of curiosity to the Ambassador role, and I look forward to being part of the team in this new chapter.
