Phoenix Utd. works with young people who face poverty, exclusion and barriers to education in north Birmingham.

Through mentoring, sport and creative projects, they help build confidence and open new opportunities.

With our  grant to bridge the digital divide, Phoenix Utd. will expand its existing digital project, giving over 150 young people access to ICT learning and podcast workshops. This will help them build digital skills, stay safe online and find their voice through creative media.

“This grant from The Access Foundation is a real game changer for Phoenix Utd. So many of the young people we work with don’t have access to digital tools or opportunities at home. The Early ICT Intervention and Voices Unheard project will help bridge that gap, giving them not only essential digital skills, but also a voice and a sense of purpose. It’s about helping them see that they belong in the digital world and can use it to shape their futures.”
