Supporting Young People as They Dare to Dream
One of our most recent grants goes to support the Lindenfeld Association. Their work helps institutionalized and disadvantaged children and young people in Romania. They offer guidance and encouragement, helping young people build confidence and resilience.
Their Dare to Dream programme offers structured career counselling for young people preparing for adulthood. Many participants lack stable support networks
during this transition. “Dare to Dream” helps them understand their skills, interests, and values. It guides them toward careers that match their strengths and aspirations. Counsellors from Lindenfeld Association help them imagine practical and achievable futures. For many, this is the first time someone believes in their dreams.
The programme also offers qualification courses. These courses follow vocational assessments completed by trained specialists. Volunteers and Ajungem MARI partners support participants throughout the process. Each course provides certified and market‑relevant skills. These skills increase employability and long‑term stability. They also build self‑confidence, independence, and responsibility, qualities which are essential for successful adult life.
