Thanks to a grant from the Access Foundation, the African Community School (ACS) is launching a new programme to help adults in Hackney overcome the digital divide.

Digital exclusion remains a major challenge for many adults. It particularly affects African-Caribbean and ethnic minority communities. Limited access to devices and skills restricts opportunities. Poor online safety knowledge also creates barriers. Many people struggle to access services, education, and employment.

This grant enables ACS to deliver accredited digital skills courses to bridge the divide and overcome barriers. Participants will receive one-to-one learning support. They will also attend computer maintenance training and online safety workshops.
