The role of founding trustee at the Access Foundation has without doubt been one of the most rewarding and satisfying experiences I have had. It has been such a great way of staying close to the great company I was part of for so many years while also enabling the transformation of so many people's lives around the world for the better.
I worked at The Access Group in a number of Directorial roles for 15 years before deciding to take on a range of new challenges in 2018.
One of those was as a trustee and then CEO of Cheshire-based children's cancer charity 'The Joshua Tree' which I ran for two tumultuous years during which the Covid pandemic hit and a new support centre was built at the charity's head-quarters in Sandiway.
I now share my time between running an online music publishing business with my brother, helping my wife raise guide dog puppies and helping to run The Access Foundation, which I co-founded in 2021, bringing some of my experience of the charity sector to the start-up process.
