With £40,800 in funding from The Access Foundation, Screen Share UK is expanding its Digital Skills Project
They are delivering 400 hours of free, personalised training to 300 individuals who might otherwise be excluded from the digital world. These sessions help participants gain essential digital skills that unlock access to education, employment, healthcare, and community life.

Founded in 2021, Screen Share UK has grown into the UK’s leading digital inclusion charity for refugees. It doesn’t just provide devices and internet access — it offers a holistic support system that fosters independence, belonging, and hope.
One of the charity’s volunteer trainers, Mahmoud from Afghanistan, shared his journey:
“When I arrived, I didn’t know how to start over. Screen Share helped me learn, connect, and now I help others do the same.”
This latest grant ensures that more refugees and asylum seekers can access the tools and support they need to thrive in today’s digital world. It’s about more than technology — it’s about resilience, connection, and opportunity.
