The Access Foundation has awarded £5,000 to Blue Triangle, a Glasgow-based charity tackling homelessness across Scotland
Blue Triangle supports more than 400 people every single day, offering safe accommodation, recovery housing, outreach services and round-the-clock guidance. Their mission is simple but powerful: homelessness should never mean losing your future. With 29 services across ten local authorities, their trauma-informed teams work tirelessly to provide not just shelter, but opportunities for stability, growth, and hope.
This grant will allow the charity to purchase 100 mobile phones and 100 Wi-Fi units, expanding their existing lending library so that people experiencing homelessness can stay connected. For those rebuilding their lives, digital access is not a luxury but a necessity. It means being able to apply for benefits, search for work or education, join online recovery groups, and most importantly, keep in touch with friends and family.
By helping people overcome digital exclusion, this project will give individuals across Scotland the chance to regain independence and restore vital human connections. It is a step toward ensuring that everyone supported by Blue Triangle can thrive, not just survive.
