The Access Foundation is thrilled to award £5,000 to the MS Research and Relief Fund (MSRRF), enabling more people living with Multiple Sclerosis in Northumberland to benefit from vital therapies.
From their base at Benmar House in Morpeth, MSRRF supports around 800 people each year. With an incredible team of staff, therapists, and volunteers, the charity offers physiotherapy, complementary therapies, and exercise classes — all completely free of charge. Their mission is simple but powerful: to improve wellbeing, build confidence, and create a community of support for people living with MS.
Thanks to this grant, MSRRF will purchase:
- Height-adjustable footrests so wheelchair users can comfortably access reflexology treatments.
- A state-of-the-art G5 massage machine that relieves muscle tension, reduces spasms, boosts circulation, and promotes relaxation.
These additions will make a real difference. Every week, around 30 people will directly benefit, with hundreds supported each year. For many, this isn’t just about therapy — it’s about comfort, confidence, and the joy of feeling included.
